Old Issues

The Jyotish Digest has had three incarnations. The first was a monthly magazine that could not be sustained due to high cost overruns and in its second avatar, it was a much smaller magazine, again monthly, that was not able to quench the thirst of the knowledgable astrologers. These are listed under ‘OLD ISSUES’ and were till 2003.

Thereafter in its third avatar, the present form of a quarterly journal, the Jyotish Digest was restarted with a new look and feel after the Puri Conference of Sri Jagannath Center (2004). This was the transition phase (2003-05) and finally has been continued till date with its traditional depiction of the navagraha deities atop the cover which are normally at the top entrance of a typical Orissa temple door. This picture is from a temple at Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

Issues older than 2002 are not available anymore. Even these are available due to the effort of my good students Freedom T. Cole and Sarbani Sarkar Rath.
